Description
The FT PDB HEX 2–12S 264 A is a power distribution board for multirotor configurations supporting up to 6 motors. The PDB HEX operates with 2–12S batteries in the 6–60V range, and its power outputs deliver direct battery voltage (VBAT). The allowable continuous current per channel is 140A, with a peak of up to 264A. These specifications make it an optimal solution for installation in powerful quadcopters and hexacopters with motor control via individual ESCs.
To power peripheral electronics, the PDB 2–12S 264A is equipped with three BECs: 5V / 5A, 9V / 5A, and 12V / 5A. A built-in current sensor is used to measure the power system’s consumption. A voltage divider with a 1K:20K ratio provides input voltage monitoring. Thus, the board combines V-BATT distribution, the generation of stabilized voltage for peripherals, and the monitoring of essential power parameters.
One of the features of this model is its compact size and multiple mounting options. Standard mounting holes for M3 dampeners with 20 × 20 and 30.5 × 30.5 mm patterns simplify installation on compatible frames. The base is made of Heavy Copper FR-4 PCB, and the board’s dimensions are only 40 × 49 × 6 mm with a weight of 12 g. Thanks to such compact dimensions, the FT Power Distribution Board HEX does not require much space in the power section of the system.
