Product description
FT VRX 1.2GHz 9CH is an analog FPV video receiver operating in the 1080–1360 MHz band. The model provides video reception on one of 9 available channels. A key feature of this frequency range is that longer wavelengths tend to bend around obstacles, which theoretically allows for longer video reception range.
The receiver sensitivity is -95 dBm (± 2 dBm), making it capable of receiving relatively weak video signals. Control is implemented exclusively via the I2C interface from a compatible microcontroller, which requires custom software. Control is also available using the FT VRX Dock station.
A bandpass frequency filter of 1140–4240 MHz provides selective signal reception and attenuates out-of-band interference. An SMA connector allows an antenna to be connected directly or via a feeder cable. An analog video output with an amplitude of 1 Vp-p is provided to output the received image.
The 1G2 video receiver operates from a supply voltage of 4.5–5.5 V and consumes approximately 0.35 A. Compact dimensions of 58 × 27 × 25 mm allow for convenient integration into video reception ground stations or UAV repeaters. The module does not require active cooling.
