Product description
The FT 3115 900KV motor is designed for heavy-lift multicopters and long-range builds using 9–10 inch propellers. Thanks to the 3115 stator size and 900KV rating, it generates significant torque. The higher KV (compared to the 3115 800KV version) means the motor reaches higher RPMs and operates more efficiently with lighter propellers.
The Ø37.5 × 41 mm rotor and 900KV rating provide high thrust and excellent efficiency in setups with 9–10 inch propellers. The maximum power output is 1724.6 W, with a maximum current draw of 65.9 A.
At idle, the motor consumes 1.7 A. The low internal resistance of the windings (35 mΩ) reduces the risk of overheating during long missions.
This drone motor for 9-10″ propellers is installed on heavy-lift FPV and long-range quadcopters, where high thrust, smooth throttle response, and minimal RPM sag without sacrificing maneuverability are essential.
The motor supports an operating voltage range of 6S–8S (up to 33.6 V). For stable operation, it requires an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) rated for 60–80 A.
It features a standard Ø19 mm (4 × M3) mounting base, along with a high-precision 5 mm hardened shaft and an M5 nut for secure propeller fastening. The 250 mm long 18 AWG silicone cables are provided for convenient wiring.
