The FT 2812 1100KV motor is designed for 6–8″ builds powered by 6S (max 25.2 V). The combination of the 2812 stator, 12N14P configuration, and 1100KV rating focuses on high thrust and efficiency. This provides powerful torque and stable hovering under load.
The Ø33.3 × 36 mm rotor and 1100KV are geared toward powerful thrust with moderate current draw. Unlike high-RPM motors (e.g., 1900KV) designed for dynamics, the 1100KV version is engineered for more economical energy consumption when using large propellers.
With a power output of up to 1361.1 W and a maximum current of up to 58.1 A, the motor easily spins 6–8″ propellers. The internal resistance of 46 mΩ and turbine-style cooling minimize heat loss.
This is an ideal choice for long-range drones, heavy-lift quadcopters, and platforms requiring extended hover times. The 1100KV rating ensures smooth cruising and the necessary power reserve for transporting payloads, while the idle current is only 1.36 A.
The brushless motor is compatible with ESCs rated for currents from 60 A and supporting 6S voltage. The Ø19 mm (4 × M3) mounting base fits most frames, and an M5 nut is provided to secure the propeller on the high-precision hardened shaft (5 mm). The 18 AWG silicone cables, 250 mm in length, are convenient for installation without requiring extensions.
