Product description
The FT K5 omnidirectional control antenna is designed for stable signal transmission and reception across an expanded frequency range of 2000–2700 MHz. This model is ideally suited for configurations operating in the 2.4 GHz band. Thanks to its wide bandwidth, the antenna offers extended functionality when paired with receivers utilizing custom frequency bands.
The FT K5 antenna covers the standard ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz band (2400–2500 MHz) while extending well beyond its limits. Featuring a standard IPEX1 (U.FL) connector, it is fully compatible with most ELRS 2.4 GHz RX receivers. Maximum performance is achieved when pairing the FT K5 with SE4 series receivers and custom-frequency firmware.
The FT K5 features a gain of 2.0 ± 0.5 dBi, linear polarization, and an omnidirectional radiation pattern in the horizontal plane with a vertical beamwidth of approximately 65°. It is rated for 50 Ohm impedance and a maximum input power of up to 20 W. The radiator is made of Ø 2 mm brass wire, while the mount is crafted from durable molded plastic.
The radiator length is 158 mm, cable (feeder) length is 180 mm, and total weight is 7 g. Connection is established via an IPEX1 (U.FL) connector. Prior to installation, it is recommended to verify receiver operating frequency and connector compatibility.
