The FT VTX 5.8GHz 4W 96CH is an FPV video transmitter supporting 96 channels in the 4867–5945 MHz (5.8 GHz) frequency band. The channels are distributed across 12 frequency bands. This number of options allows for flexible operating frequency selection and video system configuration.
The 5.8 GHz 96CH video transmitter is rated for over 4000 mW of power, with an actual output power of 2200–5080 mW. The wide selection of channels simplifies the simultaneous operation of multiple FPV systems.
For configuration, the VTX 5.8GHz 4W provides Pit Mode (0 mW), 25, 2000, and 4000 mW power levels. Pit Mode reduces signal transmission power and is suitable for configuring devices on the ground.
Remote transmitter parameter configuration via a flight controller is possible using the IRC Tramp protocol. An SMA Female connector is used to attach an external antenna.
The FPV VTX 5.8GHz 4W is powered by DC 7–36V, making it compatible with 2S–8S LiPo or Li-Ion batteries. It is equipped with an aluminum housing, a heatsink, and a cooling fan for heat dissipation.
