The FT VTX 7.0–8.5GHz 5W 80CH is an FPV video transmitter featuring a high-frequency range of 7060–8500 MHz (7–8.5 GHz). This range allows you to transmit video signals on frequencies free from interference and RF noise, and to use the VTX 7.0–8.5GHz 5W with compatible receiving systems. It is a specialized solution for builds where operation outside of common frequencies is crucial.

The 7.0–8.5GHz 80CH video transmitter supports high transmission power and offers 80 channels grouped into 10 frequency bands with 8 channels each. This selection simplifies finding a clear frequency and configuring the video system. Available power levels are: Pit Mode (0 mW), 25 mW, 2500 mW, and 5000 mW. This allows you to adjust the signal transmission power depending on the operating conditions.

Remote parameter configuration for the VTX 7.0–8.5 GHz via a flight controller is supported using the IRC Tramp protocol. An antenna is connected via an SMA Female connector, and it is powered by direct current (DC) at 15–36V. An aluminum housing, heatsink, and active cooling fan help dissipate heat from the electronics.
