The FT 3.2–3.6 GHz 18.5 dBi RHCP FPV patch antenna operates in the 3200–3600 MHz frequency range with a center frequency of 3.3 GHz. The 400 MHz bandwidth provides sufficient frequency margin across the entire band, making it fully compatible with the FT VTX 3.3GHz video transmitter.
The gain of 18.5 dBi is paired with a beam pattern of 14° horizontal and 26° vertical. The antenna can be mounted in either horizontal or vertical orientation depending on system configuration and required coverage area. Using the wider angle horizontally is ideal to expand coverage width, as vertical beam width is less critical when operating drones at long ranges.
The 3.3 GHz 18.5 dBi patch antenna is a mid-range gain model in its product line. Its key advantage lies not only in the 18.5 dBi gain rating, but also in its shaped radiation pattern, requiring separate consideration of horizontal and vertical coverage during aiming. This patch antenna features Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) and an SMA Female connector for connecting to compatible equipment.
