The FT 2.7–2.9 GHz 21 dBi RHCP patch antenna is designed to operate in the 2.7–2.9 GHz frequency range with a center frequency of 2.8 GHz. Thanks to its 200 MHz bandwidth, it reliably covers the entire operating range from 2700 to 2900 MHz, making it convenient for use with the FT VTX 2.7GHz video transmitter.
The 21 dBi gain is the highest in the 2.8 GHz patch antenna lineup. The model forms a narrow beam pattern of 14° horizontally and 14° vertically, maximizing signal concentration in the target direction. This patch antenna requires precise aiming, as allowable off-axis deviation is significantly smaller than on models with a wider beam pattern. Focusing radiation into a narrow beam enables effective long-range signal transmission.
In practice, a narrow radiation pattern means operating within a strictly defined sector in front of the antenna. For stable communication, accurate target tracking is required, as off-axis deviation results in a sharp drop in signal level.
The 2.8 GHz 21 dBi patch antenna measures 450 × 420 × 23 mm and weighs 1410 g. An SMA Female connector is provided for connecting to compatible equipment.
