Product description
The FT SE4 Dual Band Xross Gemini receiver is built on the Semtech LR1121 RF chip with support for Dual Band, Gemini, and Xrossband modes. The receiver supports the 150–1000 MHz and 1000–3000 MHz frequency bands, allowing flexible selection of control frequencies within these ranges when using matching custom firmware on both RX and TX. Signal performance depends on proper antenna matching and the transmitter capability on the selected frequency.
The main advantage of the SE4 compared to other Dual Band receivers is the ability to set custom frequency ranges for both bands and connect 2 independent antennas per band (high and low). This allows optimized antenna placement on the frame to eliminate blind spots and ensure stable link quality regardless of UAV orientation in the air. The Dual Band receiver supports telemetry output power up to 100 mW, expanding system monitoring capabilities during flight.
The FT SE4 is compatible with ExpressLRS firmware versions 3.5.x and 3.6.x. The board is powered by the ESP32-C3FH4 microcontroller and equipped with a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) for maximum frequency stability. Firmware flashing and updates are supported via Wi-Fi or UART interface. Featuring compact dimensions of 19 × 27 × 6 mm and weighing just 2 g, the receiver easily integrates into tight FPV drone frame spaces.
To unlock the full potential of the receiver across both frequency bands, FT K2 and FT K5 broadband antennas are highly recommended.
