The FT ESC 130A speed controller provides a continuous current of 130 A on each of the four channels. Peak current is 138 A for 10 seconds. The 4-in-1 format combines the control of four motors on a single board. The ESC can be used with motors of 50xx – 60xx sizes.
The FT ESC 130A 4-in-1 supports 6–12S (25.2–50.4 V) power supply. Motor control is handled by a 32-bit ARM microcontroller running at 120 MHz. The built-in current sensor and telemetry support allow monitoring the power system parameters during operation. The controller is equipped with a dual BEC 5V / 3.5A and 12V / 3.5A to power the flight controller and additional peripherals.
For mounting the ESC 130A, a 30.5 × 30.5 mm mounting pattern for M3 screws is provided. The motors are connected by soldering to the contact pads. When planning the placement of the ESC, the board dimensions of 73 × 95.5 mm and the need to ensure free airflow and air circulation should be taken into account.
