The FT 2.7–2.9 GHz 18.5 dBi RHCP FPV patch antenna operates in the 2.7–2.9 GHz frequency range with a center frequency of 2.8 GHz. The 200 MHz bandwidth allows the antenna to be used with the FT VTX 2.7GHz video transmitter operating across the 2.7–3.0 GHz band, rather than solely around the center frequency.
With a gain of 18.5 dBi, this 2700–2900 MHz directional antenna represents the mid-range model in the 2.8 GHz product line. Combining 18.5 dBi gain with a 14° horizontal and 26° vertical beam pattern provides high directivity while maintaining a wider coverage sector. The narrower vertical sector focuses the signal in a specific direction, while the wider horizontal sector leaves more margin for tracking alignment.
The 18.5 dBi FPV patch antenna features an SMA Female connector for connecting to compatible equipment. Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) ensures compatibility with radio systems using matching circular polarization.
The model features a flat panel design for convenient mounting on fixed or rotatable bases. The dimensions of 385 × 200 × 23 mm should be considered when choosing a mounting location, and the weight of 630 g should be accounted for when calculating mount load.
