Product description

The directional FT 7.9–9.0GHz 21 dBi RHCP video link horn antenna is a directional antenna for receiving and transmitting FPV video signals in the 7900–9000 MHz range. It features a 21 dBi gain and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP).

The 21 dBi gain and horn design concentrate the signal in a narrow sector of 9° / 12°. This increases the line-of-sight video link range but requires precise targeting on the UAV. A voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of less than 1.4 indicates effective antenna matching with the radio path, minimizing power loss due to reflection.

The model is designed for ground control stations and video relay systems. The antenna operates in the 7.9–9.0 GHz range and is frequency-compatible with the FT VTX 7.0–8.5 GHz video transmitter within their shared range.

Connection is made via an SMA Female connector. Before installation, it is necessary to verify the compatibility of the equipment or cable connector.

Benefits

  • 21 dBi gain — provides directional radio signal reception in a narrow 9° / 12° spatial sector, improving signal quality;
  • RHCP polarization — helps reduce the impact of signal reflections;
  • VSWR < 1.4 — low reflection level due to efficient radio path matching.
