The FT V5 4.9–6.2GHz antenna is an omnidirectional model for receiving and transmitting video in the 4900–6200 MHz range. This FPV antenna operates in the high-frequency spectrum, specifically covering the 5.8 GHz operating frequencies, making it an excellent choice for modern FPV video systems and video relay equipment.
The wide 4.9–6.2 GHz frequency range allows it to be used with various communication channels without being limited to a single frequency. The omnidirectional design is suitable for long-range UAVs operating in environments with radio interference.
The 5.8 GHz FPV antenna features RHCP polarization, so it should be paired with a video system of the same polarization. It is well-suited for dynamic FPV flights, during which the drone constantly changes its position and tilts.
A VSWR of less than 1.2 indicates excellent matching with the connected equipment and efficient signal transmission. For connection, the FT V5 antenna is equipped with an SMA Male connector, so you should check compatibility with your VTX or VRX before installation.
