The FT 2.7–2.9 GHz 16.5 dBi RHCP patch antenna is designed for transmitting and receiving video signals in the 2.7–2.9GHz range. The antenna can be used with the FT VTX 2.7 GHz video transmitter operating across the 2.7–3.0 GHz frequency band. The center frequency is 2.8 GHz, and the 200 MHz bandwidth covers the entire operating range of this model.
This 2700–2900 MHz directional antenna features a gain of 16.5 dBi. Unlike higher-gain models, it forms a wider radiation pattern — 26° horizontal and 26° vertical. This beam pattern allows for greater deviation from the central axis when tracking, making target retention within the reception zone easier. It is a practical choice for scenarios prioritizing comfortable tracking over maximum signal concentration.
Right-Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) allows the model to be integrated into compatible RF systems. A standard SMA Female connector is provided for easy antenna mounting and connectivity.
The 16.5 dBi patch antenna features a housing measuring 240 × 240 × 23 mm and weighs 435 g. Combining directivity with a broad coverage sector around the central direction, this 2.8 GHz RHCP FPV antenna is ideal for setup configurations where simpler tracking control is essential.
