FT F722 PRO HV 3–8S Flight Controller

The FT F722 PRO HV flight controller is the PRO version based on the STM32F722RET6 MCU with a frequency of up to 216 MHz. The controller is designed for an input voltage of 3–8S (7–36V). Among the reasons to buy the F722 PRO HV are support for connecting two cameras and switching between them in flight, as well as the presence of 2 ICM-42688-P gyroscopes, which are essential for measuring the drone’s rotation around its axes.

The controller features separate 5V / 3A and 12V / 3A BECs for powering compatible peripherals. An LC filter helps reduce electrical noise and voltage ripples. To estimate altitude based on atmospheric pressure, a DPS368 barometer is used. The built-in 16MB Blackbox is used for recording flight data. For analog video, an AT7456E OSD chip is provided on the board.

The FC F722 PRO HV 3–8S is equipped with 8 signal pads supporting PWM and DSHOT, through which motors and servos can be controlled. There are also 5 UART ports, 1 I2C port, SBUS, and a BZ- pad. It supports the connection of two analog cameras, as well as a digital or analog VTX according to the controller’s wiring diagram. It features 4 mm mounting holes with a 30.5 × 30.5 mm pattern.
